We are a group of Nurses and Care Assistants from the Royal Hampshire County Hospital in Winchester. Cancer is a disease that has had a huge effect on all of us both personally and professionally. 

The main reason we are taking part in this years Race for Life in Southampton is in support of our wonderful friend and colleague Laura Andrews. Laura is only 37 and is currently fighting Cancer herself. She has been incredibly brave and strong during some truly tough times. Laura has continued to work throughout her treatment, always with a smile and happy disposition for her own patients. Laura is an inspirational young lady and this is our way of both supporting cancer research and showing Laura how proud we are of her!!  

We are delighted to say that some of Laura's family are also racing with us! There'll be plenty of fun and lots of laughter with more than a few embarrassing photos but it's all for an amazing cause! Your support means so much to us and If you could donate a little something we'd be so grateful!
