Law Rocks 2010 will take place on Thursday 29 April and Thursday 24 June and will be at the legendary 100 Club. We hope to raise several thousand pounds for charity, and plan to take the event from strength to strength in years to come, so your support is needed! 12 bands from 11 different global law firms and a leading barristers chambers will battle it out before a panel of the most esteemed judges for the right to donate the prize money to their charity of choice. The Reed Smiths:
These noise conquistadors have combined music and singing to create a sonic bombardment of unforgettable ear piercing, head shaking music. To date their sole contribution to the muzak industry has been not entering the Eurovision Song Contest.
Freshly back from an appearance in their local cafeteria, surprisingly unsigned, and with no likelihood of getting hitched anytime soon, this Fab Five have emerged from the "make a big noise for justice" movement.
When the history of Law Rocks II (“return of the rocking”) is written, there will certainly be a chapter on The Reed Smiths. With Pop-Factor closed and having quit the gym (owing to a lack of enthusiasm on their own part) and failing to play at any weddings, parties or other functions (owing to a lack of enthusiasm on the part of anyone else) this self-styled poppy quintet will, in spite of the authorities best efforts to ban their appearance, be delivering screaming firepower on 24 June 2010.
Artistic differences aside, no expense is being spared in bussing them across from the other side of London (weather permitting) for one night only in aid of their chosen charity, Fairbridge (www.fairbridge.org.uk). In the middle of a long story cut short, this is the height (around 28 feet) of the legend that is:Reed Smith Mania. Next stop: The World The 100 Club. See them before the bar closes, because you’ll need that drink afterwards.
