Alison, Leanne and Elaine are taking part in the Glasgow Kiltwalk for the first time to help raise money for Caithness Mental Health Support Group. In the Caithness area there has been a rise in mental health issues with very little support as we know from family and friends who have experienced this. The Caithness Mental Health Support Group is a voluntary non-profit making organization. It has 2 centres The Haven in Wick and Stepping Stones in Thurso which are open 365 days a year. The aim of the centres is to provide a balance of activities, support and understanding in relaxed surroundings which will encourage and increase the self-confidence & self-esteem of the members.
