In March 2003 my beautiful step daughter Lea Anne Rose was diagnosed with a pineal brain tumor, at the age of 10.  The tumor was in a place where it made it very hard to operate without risking permanent brain damage, the decision was made to treat "Leggit" as Lea named it, with Radiotherapy and Chemotherapy.

Even though this treatment did shrink the tumor, it came back with avengance and spread to her spine.

In October 2004, at the tender age of 12 Lea passed away, leaving us all, her Dad, Mom, brothers, sister, myself and all her family heartbroke.

Every year since her death apart from one, I have taken part in race for life to try to raise as much money as possible for helping fight the battle against this horrible disease.
