We bring health care and education to people living in poverty in Kenya

Story

Ashley is leaving the BBC after over 30 years!

His work behind the scenes helping the Sunday Breakfast producers and flying the flag for religious affairs broadcasting has been something we have all valued highly.

Since we can't have a leaving do - please do consider donating to his charity.

Ashley runs the Funzi and Bodo Trust - a really fantastic charity which he started with his wife Sara nearly 15 years ago. It is close to his heart.

These are challenging times for small volunteer run charities and this will really help him.

You can see more about their work at www.funzi.org.uk

Or visit the Funzi and Bodo Trust facebook page.

Please remember to tick "gift aid" as the government adds 25% to your donation.

We have over 10 years of experience of working in the villages of Bodo and Funzi in Kenya where people lack basics like sanitation. We have built schools, medical clinics and brought clean drinking water. We help villagers start businesses to feed their families and end the cycle of poverty.
