I set myself a goal each year to find fun and challenging ways to raise funds for our services. In the previous years, alongside various colleagues, I have ran, swam, cycled in fancy dress, Zumba’d, three peaked and sky dived.  

So what about 2013 then....? Well I thought that abseiling down the Portland building at Leeds Metropolitan University sounded like a good idea and this year, colleagues, friends and their families are also taking part.

 

The event will consist of a 30-meter abseil that will be run and supervised by the experienced and qualified staff of Carnegie Outdoors. This will take place on Saturday 20 April from 10.00am onwards.
