I want you to suggest 'challenges', things you would like me to attempt while I am 'away', things that will make you smile.

I promise I will try to complete as many of these 'challenges' as I can and write them up too and post supporting photos and post videos (shudder) and bring back trophies and...

When thinking of 'challenges' It may help you to know the basic route I expect to take:

Depart Manchester - Arrive Athens (29th July)

  - visit Pass of Themopylae

  - family quest into Thessalonica

 Head North into Bulgaria

  - cabernet country

 Head North into Romania

  - gypsy/vampire cliches

Keep the North thing going Hungary, Slovakia, Poland.

Turn left and into Germany (Hamburg)

 - meet friend of 10 years 'postal' communication

Finally run all the way home... ferry Amsterdam to Newcastle? (12th August)
