Story

On June 25th 2014 cyclists from Leigh fire station are planning to take on the ultra hilly, extremely arduous Fred Whitton challenge (The route, not the event) to raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support and The Stephen Hunt Memorial fund. Stephen was a Firefighter in Greater Manchester who sadly lost his life on an incident in July last year.

All of the participants and support crew have been directly affected in some way by the issues surrounding our chosen charities so would like to raise funds and awareness.
