Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. Some of you may know me well and some not as well, that's not relevant.  What is relevant is how my fund raising, your donations, will help the lives of many people who suffer from the many varying forms of cancer. My donation will be going to cancer research, who have saved millions of lives by discovering new ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer. I hope you all agree that this is a worthy cause, I know I do.

Why Cancer Research UK? In Oct 2008 my grandfather passed away very suddenly from cancer of the liver and lung, he had not been diagnosed with the cancer until 8days before passing away. Which just shows how dangerous this disease can be, and I want to do something in his memory to help others in the future. Since this time a number of family members have been diagnosed with cancer, they have and are recieving vital treatment to aid in the control of this ever more common disease.

I'm planning on doing a 80km (50miles) trek through the mountains of Peru to raise money for Cancer Research UK and I am asking you to sponsor me for this event and in turn help the research into the prevention, cure and treatment of cancer for hundreds of people.
