Back in January 2010 I sent an email to my fellow managers detailing a 300 mile cycle ride of sheer hell over 4 days around our region.

Funnily enough, not too many replies came back! However, the 2 replies I did get were from the most unlikely people in the region! Jane Maxwell and Steve Jones!

For those of you who don't know, I am reasonably fit and can ride a bike - sorted! Jane smokes far too much, drinks far to much and does like the sofa just a tad too much! Steve.............. well, he bought a bike for his boy once!

I then thought at some point in the year they would both fall away, not bother, find something else to do etc, etc. And I would get out of it! - Bugger!!

On the 26th September myself, Steve & Jane will be leaving Haverford West for 4 days of hell to raise money for Leukaemia. Over those 4 days as a team we will cover the 302 miles, achieving something we never thought possible!

I apprechiate there is always something going on, always someone asking you for money. Times are hard and we all have a bills to pay, but I would please ask that you dig a little deep and support us. 

Steve gave me the inspirtaion for this trip by simply saying "we'll do it for the kids"
