Story

Thank you so much for visiting my JustGiving page.

I have set myself the tough challenge to dice stack for one whole hour, with 4 dice and 1 cup. I will keep a tally of how many dice stacks I do during this time. My goal is to stack over 350 sets of dice.

I have set myself  this challenge because my big brother Miles has SynGAP1 Syndrome and I would do anything to help him.

According to Mencap, 'SynGAP1 is a rare genetic condition that causes learning disabilities. It affects both boys and girls and generally occurs randomly. SynGAP1 often causes seizures, language delays, emotional and behavioural challenges, sleep problems, and motor delays.'

The SynGAP Research Fund was set up in 2018, the same year Miles got his diagnosis. The SRF is a global group of families driving the research and development of treatments, therapies and support systems for those with SynGAP1 worldwide.

'My brother deserves to get all the support he needs so please help me reach my goal' says Theo.

About the charity

The SynGAP Research Fund was incorporated in 2018 in California to improve the quality of life of SynGAP1 patients through the research and development of treatments, therapies and support systems. In the last two years, we have raised ~$1M toward Syngap research to accelerate therapies for our children.
