The Martin Currie Rob Roy Challenge 2018 · 23 June 2018 ·

Martin Currie Charitable Foundation is run by staff of Edinburgh-based investment management business, Martin Currie. We support a number of good causes through charitable donations and volunteering. Our main fundraising event is the Martin Currie Rob Roy Challenge, held each year in June.

Story

Thanks for visiting the #letsdomarketing team Just Giving page. Our team are taking part in the Rob Roy Challenge and if you’re feeling generous would politely ask for a donation from you. Size is not important (so I tell myself) and all donations are greatly received. These will go to the Martin Currie Charitable Foundation and by default to the following deserving charities - Cyrenians, HorseBack UK, Marie Curie, Maggie's, Princes's Trust Scotland and last but by no means least Scotland's Charity Air Ambulance.

But who are #letsdomarketing ?  Well, we’re the finest
array of marketing minds at Martin Currie (can’t you tell by the team name). A team made up of an elite band of athletes. Or more precisely Hayley and a bunch of her colleagues that she’s persuaded* to take part.

The team are as follows

Hayley ‘I don't want to boast but I'm also doing another 17 challenges’ Keenan (team captain)

Stephen ‘High-Tower’ Ratcliffe (vice captain)

Christopher ‘tweed waistcoat’ Pyrkosz

Irene ‘new boss so no funny nickname’ Brodie

Ceri ‘China Red’ Lynn

Neil ‘why’s he not written this page’ Evans

Colin ‘karaoke king’ Tees

Kurien ‘been doing his garden for two years’ Jacob

Mark 'only let's his wife have Chinese takeaway once a fortnight' Wallace

Keith ‘don’t give up the day job’ Greenoak.

James 'the Undercover Meerkat' Holder

Neil 'The bike whisperer' Wiggins

Marco 'the donut deliverer' Fabiani

Sam 'doesn't get a nickname because she didn't say please' Donaghy

In all seriousness, we’d appreciate any donations you wish to give. It will be a big physical challenge for all of us and knowing you’ve donated money to such worthy causes will encourage us all to complete our individual challenges. Thanks for your support.
