I have decided to run two half marathons in a two week period to raise money for two charities. I will be running the Nike Run to the Beat on the 25^th Sept, followed by the Royal Parks Half Marathon on the 9^th Oct. I am trying to raise money for CHASE shooting Stars, which are a fantastic children’s hospice, giving so much support to the families and also I am raising for St Peters NICU unit, which is their Neo-natal intensive care unit.

 

This one is particularly close to my heart, as these amazing midwives and doctors looked after Meila, my daughter, when she arrived very premature with a rare heart condition called ‘wandering pacemaker’. They supported myself and Steve through a tough few weeks and we couldn’t have asked for better people looking after our little girl. They desperately need funds to keep the unit and equipment up to date.
