In memory of Libby Nisbet from St Abbs

Peter Nisbet is raising money for St Abbs Lifeboat
In memory of Libby Nisbet
We operate an independent lifeboat based at St Abbs. We are on call 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Ready to launch in minutes we ensure that the fishermen, divers, anglers, walkers, surfers, kayakers, sailors & birdwatchers along our coast have the best chance in the event of an accident.

Story

Our little wee mum (Eliabeth Ann Nisbet), know to all as Libby, sadly slipped away from us in her sleep. When she was found still and snuggled in her own bed in her little house overlooking the north sea, it was members of our lifeboat crew that came to give us hope. They administering CPR until the ambulance could arrive. Sadly she was gone, but our crew were there trained and ready to gave her the best chance she had.

She was also the wife, mother and grandmother of a family of men who work on the sea. Knowing that our lifeboat was there on call gave her hope and comfort, especially on those nights when the weather was poor and the fishing boats were still to come in.

So in memory of our dear mother, and for our village or heroes who crew our lifeboat, please consider making a small donation to the independent St Abbs lifeboat.
