Story

Thank you for taking a look at this page.  My twin sister, Max, was diagnosed with cancer in 2008 and that October I had my head shaved!  I wanted to support her at a difficult time when she was about to lose her hair as a result of chemo.

I thought that by now Max would be better and the experience would be a distant memory.  How wrong I was!  After going through an horrendous journey of treatment and every side effect imaginable, the cancer has spread to her liver - this is being treated but unfortunately is not curable.  Max has had amazing support from her Macmillan nurse, Maxine (spooky!), hence this time Macmillan is my chosen charity.

Believe me shaving my head was easy!  Running has been tough, especially with a dodgy hip!  And now they expect me to wear a green tshirt - green really isn't my colour. LOL!

Thanking you in advance for your support - it means a lot to me
