Hi All, Well, this year's been kind of hectic and so, I'm now doing my fundraising for the 2008 London Marathon after the fact. My charity is the NSPCC {National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children}. It was a great day. Sunshine, rain, hail. But the crowds stayed with us. {My fake tan, not so lucky}. My son's school rain mac kept me dry, and my feet never blistered. I dedicated each mile to someone I love. So a lot of you, like my mom, were with me on the day one way or another. As last year, I also had the voice of my friend Blaine in my head, urging me to break the pain barrier. {Well, Blaine, I did shave 20minutes off last year's time and I beat the guy in the giant Cornish pasty outfit, but I still didn't finish in 2hours 30mins like you!}.
