Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Whilst looking for my 2016 challenge (previous challenges have been 10ks, half marathons, sky diving etc) someone suggested the 365 days of running; I thought it would be a great challenge for me...then I realised it was a leap year - darn it, 366 days of running it is then!

I want to raise money to support Cancer Research, it's something that affects everyone one way or another. My mum battled cancer from her mid-twenties and we ultimately lost her due to a stroke at an age that, really, was far too young to leave this place behind. I have been raising money and awareness for the Stroke Association for the last few years, and whilst this charity will always be a charity close to my heart, I think it's time to actively support another cause as well. Recently, Cancer has reared it's ugly head once more and I have seen far too many people have to deal with it directly or indirectly.

I don't want to rant, and I don't feel like going into too much detail about it all, but there you go. Cancer Research it is.

I've set a low target, but I will by no means be happy at this! I want to completely smash this target!

Keep updated on my progress on my Blog - http://366daysofrunning.blogspot.co.uk/
