Our dad was diagnosed with terminal cancer and was able to access the services provided by the fantastic nursing and support staff at Pendleside, up until his death in April last year. They have also provided our family with an immense amount of support both during his illness and since he has died.
The hospice relies on fundraising as they only receive 23% of their annual funds from the Government and for such a valuable resource that allows families to spend precious time together in such difficult circumstances, it is one we can not afford to lose.
