I'm planning on hiking the Great Wall of China for Macmillan.  I have chosen this charity because for the past 3yrs I have been privileged to work in partnership with Macmillan.  I have been very passionate about helping as many patients and their families at an incredibly difficult time in their lives.

Every day I hear so many stories of how cancer has affected every one of their lives and their family.  I am also very lucky to see first hand how Macmillan provides so much support and help to patients in so many different ways which makes such a difficult journey that little bit easier to manage.

I saw all the happiness and hope we can help to bring to people however small despite the struggles each day they may face.  I can honestly say this made every day extremely rewarding and for that I am grateful.

Like so many other people I also have recently lost my uncle. He battled for 5 years with cancer and I saw the struggles he faced with the side effects of his treatment. I want to raise as much money as possible to support this charity in his memory.

I am extremely committed and passionate about assisting Macmillan with their fundraising in order to continue supporting so many people affected by cancer in a variety of ways.
