Far too many of us have felt the pain of losing someone we love. With your donations, we power groundbreaking cardiovascular research to save and improve lives, bring hope to families, and keep hearts beating across the UK.

Story

Wouldn't it be great to unleash the spirit of 2012 again? I'm going for my Personal Best in a deep sea diving suit…
I'm joining Britain's Personal Best, a national campaign funded by the Big Lottery to keep to keep the spirit of 2012 alive, by walking up the Gherkin in a 1940s deep sea diving suit that weighs 140lbs! (64kg) The Gherkin stands at 180m (591 feet) and in order to get to the 38th floor observation deck, I will have to take 1,037 steps, carrying a cumulative weight of 73 tons! (66 metric tons). I'm doing this to push myself to achieve the very best that I can do, and to raise funds for my favourite charity – The British Heart Foundation. You can join me by clicking on the below link and signing up to take part in my Britain's Personal Best Challenge.
