John Travers, the late CEO of Cushman & Wakefield [EMEA], was intent on SATW being involved in Africa. He dreamed of building a school there and undertook a great deal of research in Uganda, Tanzania, Malawi and Ghana. Together, Jennie Travers and SATW are taking this project forward and building a new secondary boarding school at Miono in the Bagamoyo district in Tanzania. The London Capital Market Team are aiming to raise £40,000 to build a new boarding house at this school – and this is what I am cycling for!
