Almost a year ago our cousin David English, a fit, healthy and experienced cyclist was hit by a car while cycling in London. Quite simply, the team at London Air Ambulance saved his life.

We are not all runners (in fact I think only Simon is!) but we are all setting ourselves personal challenges for a charity we are extremely grateful for. Please support us as we put on our trainers, puff and pant together, and raise funds for a great cause. 

London Air Ambulance is the registered charity that delivers an advanced trauma team to critically injured people in London. While we don't all live in London, we want to fundraise together and we hope you will understand why we have chosen the London team. 

As well as delivering life saving support, Frank from London Air Ambulance has continued to show a genuine interest in David's recovery; visiting him almost monthly and offering support and encouragement to both David and his family. It has been a very tough year, but David's next goal is to stand, unaided and shake Franks hand. Go David and thank you London Air Ambulance!
