This is an unusual request for funds, after having completed the event! I have to admit I was not sure whether I was fit for the challenge so I decided to wait until I've finished the ride to ask people for money!

Well, the good news is that I did it on Sunday September 7th!! And it was absolutely fantastic, even though it was pouring down with rain for half of the ride, and had an early start of 7.15 am. The Palace-to-Palace Cycle Ride is a 45 mile journey from Buckingham Palace to Windsor Castle, taking in various "famous and picturesque spots" on the way. I was part of a team of 50 people from Oracle. Definitely worth it and I am now wondering what to do next. London to Brighton? Who knows!!!
