Hi everyone Lorraine (Lou or Loulou) here I got diagnosed with Bowel Cancer 2 months ago it came as a shock but I've decided to fight this head on and not let it beat me. I had a large part of my bowel removed nearly 3 weeks ago and in the next month I'll be starting Chemo therapy.
I've decided to do Race for Life before my chemo starts as a positive start to the next 6 months. I've got an amazing team beside me (probably in front of me)😊 who are joining me my sister Tracey, my sister-in-law Fabienne and friends Sophie Meece, Chloe Mort, Katy Ambridge, Lisa Kate, Sue Stevens, Caroline Cooper, Wulfie Cooper. and there could be more added to the list, plus we have friends coming to cheer us on.
I might not be able to run it as I'm still recovering from my surgery but Antony will be on hand to carry me over the finish line. (His choice not mine) 😊
If you would like to sponsor us or even just turn up to cheer us on that would be great.
I'll keep you updated on race day..
All my love
Loulou
