We are friends Eileen McCallum and Libby McCarthur from the cast of BBC Scotland's "River City" and we're slimming for charity.

Eileen's two grandsons have Muscular Dystrophy and the appeal is for more funding for the ongoing research into treatments and eventually a cure for this condition. It's a race against time so please help either with a flat donation or by sponsoring us (so much per pound) for our weight loss, which will be recorded on this website.

At the beginning of the year Eileen weighed in at just over 13 stone and Libby at just under 12 stone!
