Hi!
We are
"Los Nachos Hermanos" and on the
25th of October 2014 we will compete in the
Bristol Student Jailbreak 2014: a charitable event in which teams have 36 hours to travel as far as possible from Bristol with some added rules to make it more of a challenge:
- No money can be spent on transport
- No transport can be pre-arranged (all arrangements must be done from 9am on the 25th October)
- All transport must be legal
- You must fundraise at least 50 pounds per member of you team. (100 in the case of Los Nachos Hermanos)
Who are we?
My name is Ignacio Pérez de Bartolomé (they call me Nacho) and I study at the University of Bristol. I am the President of "Vimprove": a student society in which members collaboratively improve by helping each other.
My name is Ignacio Hernandez Arroyo (I'm a Nacho too) and I too study at the University of Bristol. I am the President of "UBSEDS": a student society whose aim is to nourish the interest in space exploration.
Both our organisations rely heavily on ambitious students; students who are willing to challenge the obvious and advance human understanding.
Who are we funding?UNICEF is a world-leading charity devoted to improving the living conditions: providing them with: food, water, medicine; and above all, education.
The whole competition we will be taking footage of our fundraising (mostly waving buckets frantically above our heads) and all the money will go to UNICEF UK.
Do the right thing, Donate now :)
Love,
Los Nachos Hermanos
