Firstly…thank you for visiting our page because this means you want to read about what were doing/laugh at us…I think I must have been drunk or defo hungover when my mum decided to invite me to swim 5k of Windermere in one of her many crazy life moments, but anyway I wanted to make 2015 a year when I was raising money for charity so I'm starting now.
Were raising money for St. Catherine's Hospice in Preston because we both have had close friends here and without sounding too cliche, the work they do is amazing and they help so much with managing the pain of the end of peoples lives, offering support to the family and offering the best quality help for such a difficult time in the face of a life-limiting illness. We respect EVERYTHING this charity does and nothing is crazy enough in order to raise money for them. PLEASE i know its hard, but just have one less jagerbomb in Macs this weekend and donate through our page cause it will make you feel happy and also make us happy so everyone wins.
I am also raising money for CALM (campaign against living miserably)…They are dedicated to preventing male suicide as it is the biggest killer of men under 45. Men generally don't speak up if they are depressed and we need to get rid of this social stigma and challenge the culture attached to men seeking help when they need it. Anyway don't wanna blab on, but i like this charity and I like what it does and who they are so I want to support them.
I was gonna sit in a bath of beans but i would just eat all the beans and it really wouldn't be much of a challenge...Neither would a sponsored silence cause sometimes I'm moody and shut up for hours on end. My mum could do a 10k or 20k run and wouldn't even be phased by it cause she's a freak….takes her dogs for 10k runs at 5am all the time, so we decided to do the Windermere Great North Swim because it will be FREEZING, challenging, fun, exhausting but most of all rewarding knowing we can raise a good amount of money for charity. #davidwalliams
ANYWAY give us money cause were rubbing lard on ourselves and swimming a lake so we need motivation.
peace out a-town.
love from Grace and Louise. xo
