Team Louiedoit are taking on this challenge in support of the National Deaf Childrens Society, our son Louie (Paul & Jody Edmondson) was born with Microtia which left him with moderate hearing loss and the need for future operations and cosmectic surgery.  The support and guidance provided to us as a family by the NDCS proved invaluable when we coming to terms with his loss. As a result team Louiedoit was formed to raise money for this very worthy cause. To date team louiedoit have taken on and successfully completed 2 challenges and we are now embarking on our toughest challenge yet.

This challenge is one of the toughest in the UK and will need careful preperation and extensive training for at least 12months to ensure our challenge attempt is a success.

Challenge Overview

The challenge is to ascend and descend 24 peaks across the lake district in 24 hours, each one over 2,400ft and the total ascent is equivalent to half the height of Mt Everest, as the weather in the lakes is notoriously wet this will make the challenge even tougher having to compete against the elements as well as the highs and lows.
