Im pretty sure a midlife crisis has bought me here, along with Covid - it’s time to get out, do the things you thought you never could, life is too short, just go for it!

Usually I am the supporter of my Husband, Nick,  who regularly participates in all these events.  Having a minor heart condition I’ve actively avoided any strenuous exercise for most of my life and honestly never believed I would be capable of running the London marathon, (or even a half marathon)

I’m not planning to do it in any great time, the plan is just to get round the course in one piece!  This is a one time only event for me, so I plan on wearing something special to celebrate London!

The Charity I will be raising funds for are Regain.  We’ve been involved with the charity for a number of years, and I would love to raise as much money as I can for them, they really do some incredible work!

I’d love to have you on board to support me during my journey, reality’s now firmly setting in as I look at my training plan and wonder how on earth I’m going to manage couch to 26 miles over the next coming months!
