I am running the Edinburgh marathon on May 25th for the sole purpose of raising money for Children's Hope UK Ltd; I am far too practical / manically busy to do it for recreational purposes! The reason  I am so keen to raise some money  is that I have been lucky and privileged  enough to have had the chance to see at first hand, not only the dire need in places like Bangladesh, but also how effective Children's Hope have been in making a difference. I have also been fortunate to have, over a few years, got to know personally some of the children and indeed their families quite well, and so this has become a bit of a personal mission for me. They are so incredibly grateful for the chance in life that Childrens Hope gives them, primarily through an education they would otherwise be denied.
