Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.
Update to the below. Due to weather conditions jump postponed until 31/08/08. Was around 5 seconds away from getting on plane to do my tandem skydive, when instructors and pilot decided that we could not go up! Fingers crossed for then >)
Hi there, On the 2nd August 2008 I am doing a 10,000 feet tandem skydive for BLISS (the special care baby charity). My 2 sons were born early and needed a little extra care than other babies. My oldest Matthew was born at 36 weeks and weighed 5lb 6oz, gorgeous as he was he needed intensive phototherapy. At 2 weeks old we were allowed to take him home. Daniel (pictured) was born at 32 weeks. He weighed 4lb 4oz. He was rescusitated when he was born. I watched as he got stronger and bigger. He came off CPAP and oxygen and managed to breathe himself. For 4 weeks he stayed in the neonatal intensive care unit. Every day was a struggle - leaving him there while I went home. Now because of the advances in medical science my boys are fighting fit (and eating me out of house and home LOL). I want to help other babies to be strong too. Please sponser me. Thanks.
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: BLISS gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
So please sponsor me now!
