Story
AMMF is the UK's only charity dedicated to Cholangiocarcinoma. Cholangiocarcinoma is a rare type of cancer affecting the bile duct with a very low survival rate. As such a rare form of cancer there is very little research into Cholangiocarcinoma, yet it still seriously affects the lives of many everyday such as our dear Mum.
Louise was diagnosed in January 2015 and very sadly passed away on 10th August 2016. Rather than sending flowers we would ask that people make a donation to AMMF to aid research and help to prevent others suffering from the effects of this disease.
Louise was an incredible Mum to Toni and Adam, the best Nanny in the world to Amber and she found true happiness with her partner Denis. She will also be sorely missed by her Mum and partner Dorothy and Barney, Sisters; Cherry, Vivien, Rachel, Naemi and Brother Pete and their families.
Louise also worked as a teacher in different primary schools in Coventry and most recently for Coventry Autism Support Service (CASS). She improved the lives of so many families and colleagues and was never short of recognition for the difference she made to her pupils' lives. Even when diagnosed Louise continued to work, she thrived on making a difference to as many people as possible. Many may not even have known of her illness as she was so selfless, did not complain and did her best to carry on.
Louise was an inspiration to so many people, she sacrificed everything for us for which we will be eternally grateful and proud to be the people that we are thanks to our Mum.
Please help by making a donation of any size to help raise awareness of this terrible disease and aid research to help find a cure or even better a way to prevent it.
A funeral service for Louise will be held at 12.30pm on Monday 22nd August at St John the Baptist Church in Berkswell. If you wish to attend the dress code is smart with some colour (if you would like). Black clothing is not required.
Thank You
Toni, Adam, Denis and all of the family.
