This page is in loving memory of my gorgeous Nan SYLVIE who touched the hearts of everyone fortunate enough to meet her.

Sylvie has now gone to the great cupcake in the sky, but for the final 5 years of her life she suffered with severe dementia. Dementia can be a cruel illness as it takes away a person’s ability to understand and cope with everyday life. Thankfully, together as a family, we found the strength to cope with Sylvie’s illness and learnt to embrace it in a way that enabled her to continue to live an independent and dignified life.

Many others are not so fortunate, so please give generously to this cause.
