A team of students and staff from London South Bank University will climb the three highest peaks of Scotland, England and Wales within 24 hours to raise money for Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH).  The challenge to climb the peaks within a continuous 24 hour period is considered one of the toughest physical endurance challenges in the UK: a distance walked of around 25 miles, a height climbed of around 10,000 feet, and the distance to be covered by bus between the mountains of some 450 miles. The challenge will start at midday on 14 September and end midday the next day.

We are raising funds for GOSH because of their vital work in helping children and families to overcome and live with illnesses so that they can achieve the challenges they want to in life.  Nursing students from LSBU who train at GOSH have witnessed the selfless work of their staff and the inspiring stories of brave children and families. We know that the funds we raise will be put to life changing uses in their work.

The Three Peaks team members have all overcome personal challenges to get to the University, on their way to achieving their goal.
