I am doing a parachute jump on Sunday 13th June for The Dame Vera Lynn Trust who are supporting Dominics fund (http://www.dominicsfund.co.uk/), for Dominic Francillia, one of my son Owen’s friends. Owen met Dominic when he was just 3 days old on at our first NCT post-natal group. Dominic had been born a month earlier, although he wasn't actually due until July. At 8 months old Dominic was diagnosed with cerebral palsy and now at the age of 4 is unable to attempt any form of independent walking. Dominic has been selected to go to in August 2010 for an operation that will greatly improve his mobility.  Dominics fund has been set up to help raise funds to pay for his trip to and the subsequent Intensive Physiotherapy programme he will require for the two years after the operation.  He was a pupil at the for parents for 3 years which proved to be a lifeline for all the family and made a huge difference to his development in his early years.
