Story

This is the justgiving page for my son Thomas Simpson, aged eight. Thomas loves Shakespeare and Romans so he has volunteered to help University of Leicester students perform the complete works of Shakespeare by playing Lucius in 'Julius Caesar', a challenging role in several scenes.

If Thomas raises enough money through this page for the University's Cardiovascular Research Centre Appeal, then his dad (that's me - Mike Simpson, the University's Senior Web Communications Officer) will cycle two miles to the University at midnight on Thursday 21 June, in full costume, in order to say two words as 'First Pirate' in Pericles, the shortest speaking role in Shakespeare.
