Sense is here to support disabled people from the first weeks of life through all the major milestones of adulthood. Over 70 years, we’ve built extensive knowledge and expertise in supporting disabled people with complex needs, including deafblind people.

Story

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. I really need all the help I can get to fulfil my pledge.

SENSE builds around the needs and talents of each individual, offering disabled people of all ages the chance to fulfil their potential in what is an incredibly hard world for them to live in.  I for one cannot imagine how they cope with the lack of independence that comes naturally with their disability.  My brother and I are running together because we both believe this is a really great charity.  We have had great support from our family in looking after Marcus’s eyes and my ears and have been lucky to do all the things we have wanted to, however many young children and adults do not have the benefits we have been fortunate enough to have, and look to SENSE for support, guidance and care

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Sense - National Deafblind and Rubella Association will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor me now!

Thankyou very much, Lucy x
