Set up in memory of Rosie May Storrie, age 10, who was brutally murdered in 2003. The Rosie May Foundation is a little charity with a BIG vision committed to creating a living legacy for children, especially girls, giving them a future that Rosie May was denied. "Make A Difference Together"

Story

I'm working with a charity to set up a mother and baby home in Sri Lanka to offer a safe and nurturing space to build an attachment with their baby and feel confident as a mum to love independently and feel secure and safe. The aim is to reduce the risk of a baby being abandoned due poverty, trauma or abuse. I will be training a Social Worker to offer long term support to these women and enable them to break the cycle.

The story behind the charity the Rosie May Foundation...
Rosie May Storrie was brutally murdered when she was ten years old at a Christmas party in 2003 by someone she knew. Her family have built and fully funded the Rosie May Home in her memory for tsunami orphans and abandoned girls in Sri Lanka.
