Grow a pound

The project was started at St John’s School last year by Deputy Head, Mrs Ruth O’Sullivan, and was designed to encourage each child in Years 5 to 8 to discover and develop their entrepreneurial skills, by converting the £1 they were each given into more money for charity. Due to its success it has become a whole school project with some of our youngest children donning their baking aprons in the name of charity. This year it is the "Make a Wish" charity.

We exist for one reason – to grant magical wishes to children and young people fighting life-threatening conditions.
