Story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

What is it?

Fibromyalgia is a painful, non-articular condition predominantly involving muscles; it is the most common cause of chronic, widespread musculoskeletal pain. It is typically associated with persistent fatigue, non refreshing sleep and generalised stiffness .

Fibromyalgia affects about 2% of the UK population with females outnumbering males in a ratio of 9:1. The most common age group affected is between 45–60.

Why am I doing it?

My mum has been diagnosed last year for this disease. Her condition has not improved and is getting worse by the day, as there is not medicine specifically targeting this condition. She is in constant pain and always tired, to the point that it is some weeks impossible for here to go to work.

How can you help?

So help me help here and the other patients with this condition by donating few pounds to Fibromyalgia Association UK.

Many thanks

Ludo
