<p>Well, I did it.</p> <p>14 hours and 4 mins by my reckoning.&nbsp; Crossed the start at 10.17am and got to the bottom of The Mall at 00.21.&nbsp;</p> <p>Photos can be seen on</p> <p class="MsoNormal"><a rel="nofollow" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/steveslaw/sets/72157626530967838/with/5634434692/" target="_blank">http://www.flickr.com/photos/steveslaw/sets/72157626530967838/with/5634434692/</a></p> <p>Utter hell!&nbsp; From start to finish.&nbsp; I got desperate at one point and binned the donations buckets at mile 8 as it was so hard (but not before raising &pound;433 in them).</p> <p>A huge thanks has to go out to Dan Marlow, Daniella, Steve Law, Kate Fairchild, Jason Thornton and Katie who's support throughout the walk was invaluable!&nbsp; I actually don't think I could have done it without them.&nbsp;</p> <p>As usual, everything was shut shop upon finishing - no one around.</p> <p>Thanks to all for donations and support....lets see what happens next</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>MERU is a charity that exists to improve life for children and young people with disabilities. We do this by designing and custom-making specialist equipment for use at home, at school or college, in hospital or at play.
