Story
Hi guys, thanks for visiting my fundraising page.
As most of you know, I have been working in the United Kingdom for the past year and doing a little travel around Europe and the UK. As a result of too much beer and food, I put on a little weight!
I decided to do a little running six months ago to lose some pounds and found that I really enjoyed running - a little too much! So, I thought I'd put that running to the test - why just run for the sake of it? I thought why not run for a worthy charity, so after much thought, I chose to run for the British Heart Foundation (BHF).
Therefore I applied and have been accepted to compete in the Paris Marathon on April 5th, 2009. I will endeavour to run, walk or crawl the 42.3 km, for the BHF along with 37,000 other people. Over the coming months I hope to raise a thousand pounds for the BHF.
Why the British Heart Foundation? Every year the BHF save thousands of lives, thanks to ground-breaking research and innovative health initiatives, but to do this they rely on the generosity of people like you to continue there vital work.
Now the easy part, please consider sponsoring me - no matter how large or small the donation and I'll do the running - think I can't do it, then set me a challenge?
Please feel free to forward this page to anyone who might like to support the British Heart Foundation and if you have any questions or comments please drop me a line at lukesherman14@hotmail.com
So please sponsor me now!
Many thanks
Luke.
