Story
Thanks for visiting my fundraising page and with your support, I had managed to achieve my personal goal of staying alive for the 26.2mile.
26th April was way too hot for running and other runners were already sweating at 2miles. The weight distribution of my right and left leg was not blanced due to my injured calf and I fell quite badly. From 5 miles onward, I saw plenty of people staggering into St. John's ambulance tents My only aim became to look after myself, stay calm and hydrated, especially with the increasing pain at the back of my leg. At 10miles, I started to consifer the probability of not making it and the probability came down with every mile I covered. By 17miles my confidence boosted as I overtook Jordan and Peter Andre (!). From then on I realised that it was definately possible to reach the end even if I had to crawl for the rest of the way.
My charity of choice is SPARKS, which funds research for childhood diseases.
