My dear Dad John -  known to some as Jack - passed away on 4th December 2021. My Dad had a wonderful life which makes me very grateful. He loved his family, he loved his job, he loved music and he loved his golf and he also loved horses! When he was a young boy he would help a local farmer return the plough horses to their stable after a day in the fields. He never forgot that experience and recounted the story often. After retiring Dad discovered Penny Farm near Blackpool, one of the Workd Horse Welfare sites. Dad loved to visit there to speak with the horses and the amazing staff caring for them and to enjoy coffee and cake in the cafe afterwards.  I know he would be happy that funds could be raised for this cause in his name and I would like to pass on his thanks to you.  God bless Dad xxx
