The swim will take place during a window of the 19th to the 25th September 2015. Weather and tides permitting.

I saw that one of my customers had achieved swimming the channel as part of a team and just knew that I had to have a go! As I come from a small fishing village called Looe in Cornwall, and work in the fishing Industry selling fish, I thought the Fishermens Mission was the best charity for me to support. Fishing is one of the countries most dangerous jobs and not always for the best return. Please give generously and wish me luck!

The Fishermen's Mission is the only national charity that works solely to support active and retired fishermen and their families by providing practical, financial and pastoral support. Fishing is dangerous and unpredictable. Hardship and tragedy are facts of everyday life in the UK’s fishing
