Story
My 13 year old son, Aadam, and I are cycling from the west to the east coast of England ( not the US, yet!). We hope to do this over a 3 day period, and the distance is a mammoth 140 miles. Our ride is from Whitehaven to Tynemouth and the first 2 days are up some pretty steep hills, well mountains actually! Our training around the hilly terrain of London is clearly getting us in good shape for this challenge.
The Springhill hospice is a great cause and a deserving charity from my wife's home town of Rochdale. For those who may not know, Rochdale is just north of Manchester. Please give generously and lets smash through that target.

Aadam and I (together with four friends) successfully managed to complete the 140 mile bike ride from Whitehaven to Tynemouth (via Keswick, Penrith, Consett and Newcastle). I can tell you, it was harder than we all imagined, and half way up those hills, sorry mountains, we really had to remember the good causes we were raising the money for to get us to the top.
We were part of a group of 6 riders, and I must say the stand out rider was Aadam, his resilience and determination to get up the ten hills was amazing. We attach some pictures of us over the three days.
Thank you for your support, the worthy cause's of Cancer Research and Springhill Hospice truly appreciate your help. For those who would like to increase their donations, don't let us stop you and once again a big thank you for your support!
Majid and Aadam Ishaq .
