Story
My name is Aditya Shankar Pal. I am 5 years old.
My uncle Anil passed away on 11th January 2019 due to sudden cardiac arrest. He was 35 years old. My uncle loved children. He felt it was a privilege to have children though he was never given the time to have his own. He believed all children had the right to a safe loving environment to grow up in. My uncle was there when I was born. We laughed & played together. My uncle looked after me. He drove me around in his car. I baked him a pink car birthday cake & made him tasty biscuits. He introduced me to the movie Minions, he gave me lots of toys like cars & a stormtrooper. I loved him very much & I miss him every day. He was a very special uncle. I want to keep his memory alive by helping other children in Scotland that have not been as lucky as me & have been mentally or physically abused. I want to give them a chance to be happy like me & change their lives.
I am very worried. I have never run a mile before. It is a long way. Please give as much money as you have in your piggy bank or money box. You do not need to give all of your money just some. And ask people to help give their money. I will run as fast as I can. Thank you!
