My name is Steph and I am the Senior Tenancy Manager for M&M Estate and Letting Agent in Gravesend, Kent.

Why have we decided to do this?

We as a company fully support MIND and hope to be able to raise money to help support their AMAZING work.
Additionally I have been on my own personal journey with DEPRESSION, many dark days/nights thinking about a world without me, how easy it could be to end the pain or even end the EMPTINESS. Being surrounded by people and yet feeling so alone. Sleeping more than I was awake because it did not hurt in my dreams. Staring blank and feeling nothing, because nothing mattered. 

HOWEVER... with much support and help from friends, family and the NHS, I have grown to be a strong, independant and hard working woman... who still has 'low' days but I no longer feel ashamed, this mental illness may be apart of me, but it does NOT DEFINE ME! 

I have always admired the work that MIND do and the thousands of people they have helped. MIND responded to over 119,000 people seeking information and support from their helplines and their mental health information was accessed over 18 MILLION times in 2020/2021. 

We need to get to a point where you feel you can be open about your mental health without the attached stigma or assumptions. You should not feel ASHAMED or SILENCED.
