I lost my lovely mum on 1st June 2014 at the age of just 50.  My mum was not only my mother but also my best friend, my life will never ever be the same without her.  Myeloma is a blood cancer that I had never heard of before my mum got diagnosed in October 2012 yet it is such a horrible disease that at the minute has not got a cure.  Fundraising to help to find more drugs and medical knowledge of how to prolong peoples lives is so important, maybe if this was more wide spread before then my mum wouldn't have been taken at such a young age.

I originally set this page up for people to make donations instead of flowers for the funeral but the response has been fabulous.

I have decided to start an annual charity ball in memory of my mum to raise funds for Myeloma UK - therefore anyone who can not attend the ball can make donations via this page.  All the money that is raised at the ball will also be added.
