The big 40 is looming and I thought it would be a great opportunity to do something I always wanted to do: walking the INCA trail. I am in no state of fitness right now and believe me, it'll be a challenge to get that far by March but I am determined to make it and to support this charity along the way. So I need all the help I can get without having to organise fancy dress parties in german outfits, sausage snatching or "who can put the towel down first" competitions .

Please spread the word (especially those of you who are rich and famous).....my deadline for 80% of the above sum is the 2nd of January so you could sponsor me now and then still buy a Birthday present -haha.

Jetzt auf Deutsch: liebe Leute. Vielen Dank fuer Eure Unterstuetzung. Zum Anlass meines 40ten Geburtstages habe ich mich enschlossen, mir einen grossen Traum zu erfuellen und den INKA Trail zu wandern. Das heisst natuerlich viel Schweiss und Arbeit (3 Wochen vorher soll ich laut Trainingsprogramm 2 mal in der Woche 8 Stunden wandern)  aber das ultimative Erlebniss gibt's als Belohnung. Meine Charity heisst "Dreams come true" und hat das Ziel, schwer kranken oder unheilbaren Kindern einen Wunsch zu erfuellen...

Bitte seid grosszuegig und helft mir die oben genannte Summe zu erreichen. Wie auch schon auf englisch gesagt: ich muss 80% des Geldes bis zum 2 ten Januar gesammelt haben und auch wenn es sich nach deutschem Brauch nicht schickt ein Geschenk vor dem eigentliche Termin zu machen, waere ich Euch sehr dankbar wenn Ihr diese Regel dieses mal nicht beachtet. 1000 Dank.
